Subject: Kensington/ILRA Sunday 9/6 Ride @ 9

I'm hoping to hit ILRA/Kensington Sunday morning after getting off duty for a little ride if anyone is in town and interested I should be there and ready to ride by 9am.  I need to ride some good hills with the new ride to see how it handles before next weeks HIM that has a couple of good descents on it.

Can meet up in either park, but planned on hitting ILRA first to try things out on the rollers there before hitting the high speeds at Kensington.

I'll be there sun morning probably around 8 to get in a quick swim. I can be ready to ride by 9 im just doing an easy 20-30 cuz im tapering off for next week HIM too. I take it your doing the tawas half?

I should be able to make that - tho there's no way I can keep up with Danny - he's got a rocket bolted onto his bike.

yea kent lake lot sounds good how far you guys plan on going? Im going to get there at 8 to swim but if no one else is there ill just go for a quick ride before you get there.

I thought about making it a longer day in the saddle but have decided not to push it to much with the HIM coming up, but  would like to do at least two loops in ILRA which should be about 24 miles if I remember correctly.  ILRA should provide enough feedback on how the new bike will handle the hills.
