Comments: I started at a controlled pace, which was the right choice to maintain the same rythm during the entire leg. I remember to pass by some athletes during the 4th lap. ![]() Transition 1
Comments: A normal transition which doesn't deserve any special comments unless that the transition area was really long, around 200m ![]() Bike
Comments: On the first lap I tried to go with one group, however I lost a few meters and since there was some headwind I wasn't able to catch them again. The wind was blowing with some strength only in one portion of the circuit. Later... I think during the second lap I joined another group and went with them til the transition zone ![]() Transition 2
Comments: i did everything right but I forgot to take off my helmet... fortunately I realized the error still very near of my place in the transition zone... I think I haven't lost more than 10 to 15 seconds with this ![]() Run
Comments: I was going really well, however on the last 500m I had to slow down due to a sudden pain on my left leg. The pain disappeared after I finished the race and I think it won't have any serious consequences ![]() Post race

The race was scheduled to start at 10:30 AM. I left home around 7am and arrived to Lourinhã at 8am. Since there was only one transition zone, it was an easy and fast check-in.
My warm-up was made of 1 running lap to the running circuit and some gym after
