TypeError: activity is undefined?... help uploading from Garmin 405

Alex, can you confirm that you have the latest version of Garmin Communicator installed?

One you're sure that you have the latest and greatest of that, if the problem still occurs can you get us the following information:

OS and Version:
Browser and Version:


A member had the same issue with a 405 last year and it turned out to be an issue with just one workout on the device. Have you tried uploading any other workouts? Also, do you know how to export a tcx file from Training Center? That could help us figure out what's going on.

Does the communicator plug-in not work with macs?

Ok i am using Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 anf firefox v. 3.0.19

Communicator Plugin is properly installed and up to date, version 2.9.2.0.

It now says that since I updated the versions of the Firefox garmin communicator addon

Currently I have 2 peices  garmin communicator software installed.

1 is the firefox addon and the other is the Communicator plug-in for mac.  I'm not sure if I need both of these or what.  Now when I go in and try to upload my data it says "The plug-in was not unlocked succesfully"  and my device isn't showing up.  Any idea whats up?

That error has been showing up on the Garmin support forums since version 2.9.2 was released. Garmin support recommends "removing the Communicator Plugin from your system and then reinstalling it.  Link"

Also, make sure that your address bar says "www.beginnertriathlete.com" or "beginnertriathlete.com".  Make sure that there aren't two or four w's in the address.
