I know the anti-basketball fraternity can say the game is full of egotists only interested in making themselves look good. But I don't care because my Minnesota Timberwolves are going to win the NBA championship this year.

Come on - they have to make it out of the first round.   I think it might be a little premature to say Champs, when they have been chumps for the past number of years.  I hate to say it, the Lakers are going to win it all.

Detroit has the big D this year. I am not a big basketball fan, but I will be watching Detroit going a long way this year.

Well, my team didn't make it (Sixers - talk about some egos there!). But, Y-NOT-TRI, the Lakers? I am sick of seeing them do well. (And they beat my Sixers in the championship ).

The playoffs will be interesting!

CO

Believe me, I don't want to see the lakers win either, but no one in the east can compete with them.  The only teams that have a chance beating them are Houston and Sac.  But Steven Francis is such an ego manic that he is a detriment to his team.  Sac has a lot of great weapons, but not a heart of a champ!
