Is there a difference.  I just got this bike and the wheels look pretty much like my wheels on my tri bike.

Off-topic slightly, but I have the titanium version of the same bike.  Great bike, I got it back in August.  I use it for long-distance stuff, so I'm using my Mavic rims, but the rims that came with it look pretty nice.  Very versatile platform:  ample clearance for fenders, attach points for racks/fenders, nice geometry.  You should like it!

BTW that was the Fantom Cross Outlaw. Loved the idea of disc brakes on a road-ish bike.

Thanks for the info.  I guess I just assumed the wheels would be a little more tough.  I guess the bigger tire gives you more give on trails.
