I have been battling an injury all summer and haven't run more than a handful of times since the spring, so I don't think it's going to be quite the 'A' race I thought it would be at the start of the year, but I am still planning to do the sprint on August 21st. I love the park and my husband (who up until now has been solely a runner) is going to do his first du. My 6 year old son is also contemplating the KOS on Saturday so it will be a full weekend for us! Who else is in??

I might be, this is going to be a game time decision I think. My swimming is weak.

Any idea what water temperature will be? I've never been to this event before.

We were out there 10 days or so ago and I would have guessed the water to be in the low to mid-70s. Not bad at all.

The thing about Bulldog is that there really is no incentive to sign up early... no cap on entries, no lure of a technical shirt only if you make it by such-and-such a date. I am not paying up until the last minute either - I don't want to be out the $ if I can't race.

Looks like there are 9 spots left til they hit the cap on entries for the sprint tri/du. It's going to be a full transition area this Sunday!
