I'm just starting to play with the nutrition log and I'm very comfortable with FitDay.com so many of my suggestions here are based on my current comfort with that system.

Several of the things I do in the gym aren't in the current drop-down list and I'd like to add them. This would probably be best if we could make it specific to each individuals user account so that I can create additional things for myself but others only have to sort through the defaults plus any of their own customs. This would be a big one for me. I hate being a PITA asking for all kinds of exercises added, partly because I change-up my routine on a regular basis, so it would be AWESOME to be able to add my own. |

Champion 11641 Fairport, NY | Subject: RE: Training/nutrition log requests We hear you on this. The strength section of the training logs is scheduled to be one of the major updates in 2006. The goal is an extremely comprehensive log that would be valuable to anyone doing strength training, not just triathletes. Champion 13323 | Subject: RE: Training/nutrition log requests TH3 FRB and Rennick, great responses on the strength and nutrition logs. Exactly what we are looking for. We do realize that we need to optimize the nutrition logs more-we just wanted to wait to get plenty of feedback so we can do it right-your inputs helps a lot and we have a running thread at http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/forums/thread-view.asp?tid=27365&posts=31 . We plan to optimize nutrition in the coming months. On the strength, Mike and I have recently discussed our plans for new things for 2006...'Strength Logging' is a basic, core feature that gets used by a lot of people, unfortunately not a lot of 'data' can be graphed or gleamed from it as it is. Your post and the above reasons are why we are working on the new strength logs during January complete with additional graphs for individual or groups of exercises vs #reps, #sets or weight done over a time period. |
