The NBA issued their first warnings for flopping to JJ Barea and Donald Sloan!  Not quite the names I would associate with flopping, but whatever.

Next time they are fined!

 

Here is a quote from NBA Coach Rick Adelman

"I've said it before, I think it's something that they can certainly look at, but I don't know how anybody thousands of miles away on TV can tell if somebody gets hit or not hit," said Wolves coach Rick Adelman. 

 

I know I can tell while watching it on TV, it's not a matter of who flops, but when someone flops!

Hmmm.... already seeing some issues.  Sloan was smacked in the face on the play and didn't actually go down he just flailed his arms.  This might get ugly.

I think the language states something about drawing extra attention to get a call from the ref, but not actually falling down if I remember right. So flopping may not be the best word for this new rule????
