Subject: NEVER USED: 2011 Zipp 404 Clincher Front Wheel - $600

Never used 2011 Zipp 404 Clincher Front Wheel - unboxed for the first time today! This year/model (unused) is currently retailing around $1,000 if you look elsewhere.

Asking $600. Unless you live outside of the continental US, that $600 will also include shipping. 

Only time ever taken out of the original box was to photograph the pictures below - otherwise stored in my climate controlled apartment in the box. Original manual and skewers come with it. Happy to provide copy of original receipt and/or additional photos/videos on request. 

Since I got such a good deal on it and was never able to use this perfect condition wheel, I want to pass on those savings to you (you can thank my parents... they bought me a nicer set for Christmas just a few days after I purchased it - good timing, huh?). Would prefer to use PayPal but open for discussion.

Hi There,

I am currently on the look out for Zipp wheels, but would prefer to buy a set really. Though, your wheel looks good from the photo in the ad. Did you buy a set or just one wheel? I am just wondering if it might be harder to get the rear wheel, alone. Anyway, just needed to check these are Clinchers and not the tubular as I think I would prefer to be able to change the tire if I had a flat, if I was using these wheels to train on as well as racing.

PS Do you know how much the shipping would cost to Australia?

Just adding on to my last message. If you look on wiggle.com or chainreactioncycles.com.au they are advertising the Zipp Clincher 404 carbon/alum for $836 - $850 brand new

The Firecrest Zipp 404 is $1000 and Carbon. Do you know which one you have?

They are Carbon clinchers with the original toroidal shape (not firecrest).

Also brand new and never used - not even for a test ride.

This is the standard clincher wheel, not the carbon clincher.  Carbon clincher indicates a full carbon wheels with a carbon brake track (which is the firecrest wheel).  Hope that helps clarify for everyone.
