Subject: LG appliances?
We're doing a kitchen remodel and have found LG to seem to be the best value of features to price. Anyone have any feedback on their day to day use? Frustrations? joys?

I also think I want a double oven range. It seems one is big enough for roasts and turkey, but the small one would be useful for potatoes or pasta bakes.

Thoughts on LG?

I want to say that there was a thread on this, but it could have been on another forum I visit.  We have them and the only beef I have is that it takes forever to cycle the dishwasher.  Granted it is super quiet and does a good job, but 2hrs+ is a long time. We've had them for 4 yrs now, everything works fine no problems.

My SIL also has them and her beef is that her icemaker  jams (french door fridge).  I don't know if ours does that because we don't use it much anyway.

I contributed to the last thread, but after having my dishwasher only last a year and a half with multiple warranty fixes in that time, never again will I buy an LG appliance.

Thanks for the input and resurrecting the thread. I'll look at alternatives.

I've got an LG fridge. It works well and doesn't complain.

When I went to add the DW, Cooktop, and Double Oven, I was biased toward LG - completing the appliance same-brand quinella apparently adds value. However, I researched LG at that point, extensively, and the DW was a nogo, and the cooktop and oven marginal, so I opted for 'best of breed'. Which turned out to mostly be GE profile.
