Looks like something out of the movie version of "The Mist". I'd have nightmares if I saw that in the distance...

At least other governments have their heads stuck up their bums as much as ours does.

Interesting...

I know when I was in college (University of Nebraska Omaha) I saw a crap ton of really weird art all over the buildings including heinous sculptures out in the courtyard. I asked one of the professors why there was so much "art" around campus and he said state and city law required them to spend a certain percentage of the overall construction costs on art for any government buildings. He said it was so high that they were throwing hundreds of thousands of dollars out the door for anything and everything.

You have to love the government and their "efficiencies".
