So I registered for Lake Placid last Monday, putting in my correct DOB and everything, but the registeration data is showing my current age. But my birthday is next month which means I will officially move up to the next age group for every race I do starting then, as that stupid age-up rule won't hurt me anymore. Not that I wouldn't like to race in the age group I am currently listed in as there are a lot less women in that age group , but my time to race in that age group is coming to an end very, very soon. But it's sort of funny that I am currently being listed as nearly 2 years younger than I will be shortly after race day.

Basically, I am just wondering if anyone else noticed an incorrect age for their registration?

Yep- my registration data is showing my current age, as well.

Since today is my birthday, I guess I can answer my own question. At least in my case, the system corrected my age/age group at some point this afternoon/evening to my new age/age group. So your age should be correct for race day (now why the system couldn't calculate our ages as of 7/22/07 and instead calculated our ages based on the current date I do not know as every other system used for other races I have done have had it correct).

Though I have heard a rumor that Ironman event could possibly be going to that stupid age-up rule next year which would make a number of people two years older than they are currently listed as being.
