My beloved ski area that had a measly 30" base when I finally saw an Orthopedic about my knee on February 1st or so...(had surgery just two weeks ago and am NOT skiing)

has been getting hammered with storms. 80 inches since February 1st before  last night and now, 30 INCHES OF NEW SNOW SINCE 7 pm last night!

of course my dh and my middle daughter are up there loving it...its probably up to Soph's armpits.

If it's any consolation...if I'm lucky, now that home base is in GA, I get to hit Aspen/Snowmass 1x/year with "the guys" - unfortunately I missed last year and this year...they arrived Tues, and Aspen's getting hammered right now!  ugh!!!!!!!!!

somebody please hook me up with a Fat Tire and some pow, stat!

how's the knee doing?

we have a TON of snow here. my friend sonja, who is an avid XC skier is thrilled, but i'm not looking forward to pulling the burley through this stuff. time to dust off the snowshoes though!

heal up. there will be more snow.

I cycled Tuesday in short sleeves and shorts.

Got a good start on the cycling tan lines my wife hates so much.

I feel your pain (literally). Been nursing a busted ankle with two surgeries since mid-January. Although there is no skiing here in SE Texas, I am so used to my one ski trip a year.

This has been the best snow year in decades and I'm not able to go have fun!!! AUGHHH!!
