Subject: RE: Swim question - one arm drills vs regular swimming When I do one arm swimming, I was told to rotate like normal by my swim coach...so really your 16 and 17 compare to 32 and 34 not stand alone 16 & 17...so you are less efficient. I try to do one arm swimming with my non-swimming arm by my thigh each workout...do it one way breathing one side, switch arms breathing same tide coming back, then back again with 2nd arm and then back again with 1st arm..always breathing same side. It makes you rotate towards your swimming arm and also away from your swimming arm which is harder
For me a crappy bilateral breather it is the #1 drill that helps me balance and breath better on my weaker side. |
