I have been away for about 6 weeks and took lap top with me. I seem to be unable to get this site to load on it now. Not sure why. No softwear added. Frustrating as I have not been able to access site till I got back to work pc, and this one works fine?!?!?!?! I'm confused LOL.

I can get all my other sites as usual. Tried loading firefox but that is just the same. Comes up as usual error when you enter site details wrong. But site addy is correct!

 Any ideas.

Paul, I'm not totally clear on what you're experiencing. Are you saying that you can't log on to BT from one particular computer? If that's the case are you getting some sort of message being returned?

ARRGGHHH LOL

Aloha Mike and thanks,

Sorry I wasnt clear. When I type in the addy for BT (or when using a link to try to get to BT) usung either IE or Firefox I get the following.

Internet Explorer cannot display webpage

Most likely causes:

  • You are not connected to the Internet.
  • The website is encountering problems.
  • There might be a typing error in the address.

All other sites load no prob and I have checked the address, should still connect through ink anyhow. It is only on the one machine. Making me pull hair out. Any advice welcome.

Thanks Paul

It sounds like there's something on that particular machine blocking the site. Are you running a firewall or a proprietary toolbar on it?

Here's something to try.  I had this specific issue intermittently at home with only the BT site and my cable provider was unable to resolve.  Programmer dude had me change my internet DNS settings to OpenDNS - it's fixed.
