Subject: Where to buy a wetsuit in San Francisco?

Hi - as above. I'll be there next saturday. Any names of stores where I can get fitted out and addresses appreciated

SportsBasement has the largest selection I've ever seen in a store. They carry Blue Seventy, Orca and 2XU I think. They have a store in the Presidio right next to Crissy Field near the GG Bridge. They have another location in Potrero Hill. The staff are very helpful. They carry a lot of Tri gear.

3 x for Sport Basement in the Presidio. They also will rent you a suit if you have time to try it out this weekend and swim at Aquatic Park and you can put the rental fee towards the purchase of a new one. I got my suit there after trying 2 and they were super helpful and knowledgeable.

Oh, and extra discounts are fairly easy to come by... 10% is pretty much a given -- I think if you say you're a "sliding on the cheap" reader, you get 10%.  It's an online/email newsletter for skiers.

You might google to find a better one.

If you go to sportsbasement, show your USAT card for a 10% discount.

You can even rent wetsuits there if you want to try before you buy.

There's a sportsbasement in the Presidio next to crissy field and swim at Aquatic park which is nearby.
