Who's in? I'm in for the full.

Sunday, Sept. 28, 7 a.m.
Start and finish at Lewis and Clark Landing.
The course map on the web site is nearly impossible to decipher, but after consulting a cryptologist, two topographists and several cartographists I believe I have it figured out.
Basically you start at Lews and Clark Landing, make your way up Capitol Ave. to Central HS, turn north on 19th St., right on Lake Street, back south on 16th to Cuming by Creighton and then back to Gallup and around to the Qwest Center.
Then you turn south through ConAgra's campus, probably around the little lake thingy, up 6th Street
(this is where the hills getchya
), through the zoo south to Gifford Drive. Finally at mile 11 you turn back north on 13th Street, down the hill then back up to Bancroft back to 6th Street, down back the way ya came past ConAgra Plaza and to the Qwest Center.
THEN ... you go up 12th Street to 16th to Lake then up 20th into Florence, turn around then come bck along Carter Blvd
(?
), the back down Shore Drive, wherever that is, to 11th and back to the Qwest to finish.
Sounds like a b*tch of a hilly course.
I have done the full once on the old course and the half a few times. It is very hilly so if you like hills, you're golden. If you don't, hmm, then you'll just have to enjoy some of the last vistas of good old Rosenblatt Stadium. This could be a really nice race. Problem is that there is so little support. Very few spectators and it is like they have a race just because they feel like they have to have one. Kind of too bad. I wish I could join you, but just not in that kind of shape and I told myself no more mary's until I have to done one after a really long swim and really long bike ride.
