I have been riding my Cervelo P2SL for about 2 years on the stock shimano wheels. I am looking to upgrade but at around 215 pounds I know my options are somewhat limited. I do not have the money or need for any fancy carbon aero wheels worth more than my bike but would just like to upgrade to something a little lighter and faster. I have looked a little at Eastons and Mavic. Would like to stay at $700 or less for a wheelset. Any advice from fellow members of the over 200 pounds club?

Get yourself a set of used Kysirum SSL or HED Jets Stallions. I have rode/raced both an I'm a little over 2 bills...

I am 230 lbs and got the Neuvation M28 Aero wheels with ceramic bearings.  A whole lot less than what you are talking about at around $250 but they are suppose to be bullet proof.  I have ridden them about 6-7 times now and I must say I really like them.  Also, I have hit some depressions in the road a couple times that I was sure were going to knock them out of true but it didn't seem to faze them.

2nd nomination for the HED's.  I ended up with a standard build instead of the Stallions (I'm right around 200) and they've been fantastic.  I can only imagine how tough the Stallions are.  Plus I know a guy who knows a guy...

Spinnergy have been good to me. They're inexpensive (comaparatively) somewhat aero (40mm) and have no weight limit (I checked with them). Mine have been solid for 2 seasons now.

I am looking at Neuvations for a X-cross build, because i had read that they are bullet proof, and i use spinergy Stealth PBO's on my Roadie right now and have had great success with them. I go about 235lb and i started at 262lb with the Spinergy's.

both are on the inexpensive side, good luck!!!
