Subject: Maybe moving to Colorado...have questions about biking

I'll know definitely Monday, but it's almost a sure thing my family will be moving next month.   It's looking like we'll be renting for the time being in Parker.

So my questions are about Tri bikes and how much people train with them.   All the people i saw biking while we were visiting this week were riding roda bikes.   I never saw any Tri bikes.   Anyone with Tri bikes or in a Tri club tell me how much folks with Tri bikes use them to train?   Are there good routes and areas i can train on my own in and around Parker using a Tri bike?   Are clubs ok with group rides with someone on a Tri bike and not road?

Had i known we'd be moving to Colorado, i would have kept the roadie.   Am i ok with just a Tri bike?

I see tri bikes around here all the time.  Not sure about Parker based clubs or group rides though.  I think you'll love it here so I'm crossing my fingers for you!

i've all but been offered a position, so it's 99% a done deal.  just wanna make sure i can get plenty of training in on my Tri bike

I ride a road bike but there are plenty of people on tri bikes...even climbing mountain passes.  you will be fine with the tri bike if that's what you are comfortable on.  I live in Parker so let me know if you want any route suggestions when you get out here.

I only own a tri bike.  I don't ride with clubs, but I see TONS of other tri bikes on the roads.   You won't have a problem.
