So I have a Schwinn Varisty Men's 700cc road bike.  I was wondering if anyone else has this bike and if so what products you have that work well.  I am trying to convert it to a tri-bike or make it HIM ready but I am afraid a lot of products will not fit with it.  Any help would be greatly apprecaited.  Thanks!

what exactly are you trying to do to it to modify it? add aerobars? new seat/seat post? aero wheels? New aero carbon fork? A lot of what you can do depends on what you want to do.

Clipless Pedals without a doubt have been the best investment or upgrade bar none!

Can hear the btters piping in now, "RIDE RIDE and Ride more" !

I had one of those sold under the name Prelude, just a different paint scheme.
Here's what I did:

1. Got rid of the stand, just unbolt it and throw it out, it's aweful!
2. Take the tires off and put on Velox tape on the rims to cover the spoke holes.
3. Inflate those tires to some proper pressure, like at least 80psi, or better still, buy better tires and inflate to 120psi (this is actually the only thing that will make you a bit faster)
4. I took the handlebar off (took the brakes off too), turned it upside down and sawed off the drops with a hecksaw.
5. Put the brakes on again as you see on the picture.
6. I bought aerobars and installed them with aerobottle (all for the look, really...)
7. Bent the seat post forward with a tool from Home Depot for electrical conduits
8. Put on different pedals
9.  I put on a different seat (harder one, but felt better on longer rides, but you can leave the old one)
10. Cover the name with some stickers and you can fool anyone.

NB This is NOT gonna make you faster as I have experienced.

Aero bars definetely, maybe a new seat, as I am trying to get either a water bottle holder or gear bag for the seat post.  Basically make it ready for a HIM... any suggestions would be good.

That's the most impressive transformation by ingenuity I've seen. You should consider getting into bike building.
