Bike Trainer Recommendations

I use the Travel Trac Fluid Century from Performance Bike.  It can be had for about $130.  I have had mine 6 months and it has given me zero problems and it is nice and quite!

It is louder then I thought and seems to put excess wear on my tires. After a hour the whole garage, or house smells like burnt rubber. My first one was a Cyclops that i got from ebay, was great, quiet and best part was the quick release in/out. No changing of skewer. (Lent to my brother-in-law and never got it back). When it comes to trainers I think you really do get what you pay for.

How is the Cycleops Fluid 2?? I found it on ebay, brand new, for $250.  Looks like the seller is a dealer because they have all kinds of cycleops items for sell.

Yeah, thats pretty much how I got mine. If you google that model you will see, I think that 250 is a good price for it.

Yes you can find cheaper ones, but I dont think you would be disappointed with the cyclops.

I have a cyclops fluid... not too loud and very smooth.
