If I am off early enough, I will be there, here is the official invite and information for everyone else.

Tuesday Ride = Time Trial

This week, Tri-Tech will hold its biweekly TIme Trial.  This ride is open to anyone who wishes to get faster on the bike.  Please note that we are interested in a SAFE and successful ride, so we require that all riders abide all rules of the road as well as those of a typical triathlon (no drafting, no blocking (riding in the middle of the road) and general common sense on the bike.

Time: Sign-ups and warm ups - Tuesday - 6 pm - 6:30 pm

Time Trial START TIME: 6:30 pm - first rider goes off. (we seed from slowest to fastest.)

Start Location: Twin Bridges Boat Ramp on Red Bank Road; this is a gravel lot located just South and EAST of the Intersection of Sunbury Road and Red Bank Road in Galena (Turn right at the stop sign T/intersection and go 1/4 mile to the gravel parking lot.)
To MAPQUEST or GPS the starting location, go to 4790 Red Bank Road Galena, Ohio 43021

Course: 8.4 mile loop of all right turns (riding "clockwise".)  PLEASE familiarize yourself with the course PRIOR to riding it, so that you do not get lost/off course.
http://www.tritechmultisport.com/time-trials-map.htm

Closed to traffic? NO - ALL traffic rules must be observed/obeyed (i.e. stop at the 2 stop signs.)

Laps:

Timer: Barbara S.

Results: Provided to those who participate.

Side Comment: This ride is great for ANY rider - whether you average 15 mph or 25 mph.  The loop course allows for you to practice getting your "race legs" on the bike without ever worrying about being dropped or unable to finish.  Pick your distance and your speed!
Up to 3 laps may be completed for time.

Last night sucked!!! It was hot, humid, went too hard too fast, HR thru the roof, finished just one lap, notice others cut the ride short as well. Bike is now is the shop, something happen to the front wheel, start making noises and vibrating, they think something to do with the bearings.

Check this out from Christ Carnas regarding the next Tuesday night time trial on August 25th:

"We are happy to announce that on Tuesday, August 25th, we have arranged to have Zipp come to Columbus and attend our Tues. Time Trial.  They will be providing us with Zipp demo wheels to use on your bikes for the time trial.  If you have never used a good set of aero wheels now is your chance.  The Time trial will start at the regular time of 6:00 pm, First rider starts at 6:30 pm.  Show up early if you want to take advantage of the free Zipp demo wheels.  This will give us time to get the wheels on your bike before the start time.  Zipp will also be extending a discount offer to anyone who demos a Zipp wheel set and then decides to buy some Zipp wheels.  Please plan ahead to be there and demo some very fast wheels.  Your Time Trial will be faster!"
