I have added an artists rendition of what I encountered in Minnedonka this AM.  I will be making the trip post MOO with any able bodied folks who can handle a harpoon.

I know my eyes have become worse for the last couple of years, but, WTH is that tiny pic resembling - I don't think it's Godzilla?

Ooooo, giant monstrous snapping turtle. See, that's why I swim in the murky waters of Madison. Even if they're down there, I can't see 'em.
