There are some exceptions. For example, if I have a day with a really hard interval session on the run and a relatively easy swim session, then I'd prefer to do the run first, because the swim (in that case ) can serve as a nice recovery from the run. (No, I'm not saying that all swim sessions do this -- the really hard ones sap the energy out of you just as hard runs do. ) |
