Subject: Friggin pollutors!
Rant time. So I was just at the beach hiking sand dunes with the dog when I came across a 12 pack's worth of empty Corona bottles tossed all over the place. WTF? It makes me so mad when people leave trash on the beach!!!! Seems to me that if they have enough energy to hike up there with their 12 pack it wouldn't be too hard for them to bring the empties back. Big old jerks! I had to make two trips to the trash with their junk.

I hear ya!  I feel like I'm always picking up chip bags and soda cans.  When we spent a week in Yosemite, I was amazed at how careless people were with thier trash in the campsites, and there were garbage cans everywhere!

The worst was the porn mag I found on the sidewalk on my run.  One my second lap by it, I carefully picked it up and put in the trash can that was less than 10 yards away.  Yick!

I've noticed that there tends to be lots of garbage in really strange places. I regularly ride on a parkway that only has businesses on it. Why are there so many beer bottles and cans on the side of the road? People are bored and think, "Hey, let's go drink some beers on the side of the road by the Virginia Farm Bureau. It'll be awesome!" Seriously, sometimes I just don't understand people.

I live in New Orleans, and we have a huge litter problem. It really bugs me too. It makes me say to myself, "who are your parents that raised you like that" Ugh.

Know what else I don't think gets enough attention in relation to the litter problem? Cigarettes. People who would never dream of littering seem to have no problem just tossing their butts any and every where. Yep, bugs me.

The guys from Dirty Found were here a couple of weeks ago at a gallery opening. Some of their stuff is really funny...some is very disturbing.

Spring time in Eastern Long Island is the worst. Its thoes dammed contractors dumping random crap on the side of the road. Everything from Cheezy old 70's Molding's. To Toilets! Yes Toilets! I nearly ran into one on the bike because one jackass contractor put it in the shoulder around a blind curb.

I have seen everything from random rubbish, to pool filters/pumps, engine blocks, mattresses, etc. All on the side of the road, because nobody can pay the fee to go dump in the town dump! And all the dumping occurs on the outskirts of Sufflok County parks, and forrests!

For how "Exclusive" long island is in terms of real estate, we are home to some of the trasshiest people on earth!
