Why would you think that? I always answer these questions. It actually depends on which race you are considering entering. They all fill-up at different rates.

To explain, the reason I thought that has to do with the way you answered the question: short, without any information about the normal expediency with which the races fill (there aren't all that many categories, only five).

I'm interested in the sprint tri.

There are times when I am very busy and unless the question is specific my response is to obtain more information for clarity purposes.

The Sprint usually will fill up by the last week of August. That is not to say that it will be the case this year. We also post updates regularly as it gets close to filling up. I would suggest you check our website on a regular basis. I hope that answers your question.
