Subject: RE: laptop recommendationsI'd stick with the Lenovo's for durability they aren't the prettiest but they do last a long time. also, if you are going to be doing any realy work with the laptop, make sure you DO NOT get a glossy screen! the glossy screens are good for movie watching but for real work, they will give you a head ache.
HP's the only ones I would look at from HP are the elitebooks everything else from them is junk.
Toshiba, RUN from them. It's been a long time since their "I checked my notebook" days an their quality and durability is just horible
Acer. Second teir company their strong point is price only!!
Dell... they are a mixed bag, some models are great for both performance and durability, others...run!
and I used to love Dells and hate lenovo's! I've learned to get past the boring corporate look of the Lenovo's and appreciate their durability and quality!
