Subject: double bass gift

I am a double bass player in one of my bands and since I have been doing some art for a hobby in my spare minutes, I decided I should build one.  Well my wife fell in love with it, even though it isn't done and I guess it is going in the dining room.  It is approximately 5'6" tall.  I am trying to decide on a final finish color to put in the house.  This is how it looks zinc plated.

Thanks.   Here is a picture of it in my actual double bass stand in my sun room. I have already changed my mind and powder coated it gray and have done some black highlights by just painting the "f-holes" black.  When I get that mounted on a wall, I will take a better picture.  I had a person from the D.C. area already ask about buying it.  Had to tell them no, this is a gift.
