Comments: Went out very fast for first mile...surprised myself!!! 6:45-50 ish, and that was weaving in and out of people! Definitely should have heald back a bit, but still it's nice to know my legs could still do that!........ The second mile was a bit of a struggle, I wish I could have seen my 2nd mile split time. I kicked into gear for the last mile, and especially the last 1/2 mile. What would you do differently?: Keep a consistent pace Post race
Warm down: Mingle, cheer more people on, eat lots of food! What limited your ability to perform faster: Nothing, didn't expect much, used it more as a training day! Event comments: Very well organized event. Great post race activities: a BBQ, beer garden, raffle, live band, the works! It was great fun......... This year was 63/253 ovrall, 11/113 women, 4/24 in my age group. BEAT LAST YEAR'S TIME!.......... Last year was 188/371 overall, 65/193 women, 17/43 in my age group (20-29) with a time of 26:05. Hope to beat that this year!!! Last updated: 2004-08-09 12:00 AM

Woke up, ate a banana, and Brian drove me to the event. Mingled a bit.
Mile jog, stretched. Watched the kid's fun run, did some high knees/butt kickers
