Subject: RE: bike questionI had a roller and eventually switched to a trainer. The roller definitely takes some practice just to stay on the thing. Not bad once you get the hang of it though. Also, my roller didn't have any resistance device, so I found it was better for spinning and balance technique. Now have a cycleops fluid trainer and couldn't be happier. I can set it up anywhere (preferably in front of a TV ). It also provides a good quality resistance. After having used them both, I would recommend a resistance trainer ( beware, the wind ones are less expensive but fairly LOUD ). |
