Still, he says he swims an average of 42,000 meters a week, which amounts to 840 meters of preparation for each meter of the race — an awful lot of aerobic training for such an anaerobic race." Next time you're in the pool, swim all the way to the other end without taking a breath, breathe, then come back again on that one breath. Actually don't do that, but that's basically what he did! Heh, yeah, I'm good to get 9 strokes out of one breath, and that is not doing an all out. Then again, if I really had to, maybe I could get more out of it. Maybe I'll have to try that. One day.
