Hi there -

I know this isn't the most appropriate place to post this but I am literally sending tons of emails out, doing outreach and all that and I'm trying to get the word out to as many people as possible. So if you are local to the Los Angeles area, please pass this info on to your friends/family/coworkers etc.

My husband Jeff, our dog Spacey and I found these 4 kittens obviously very recently dumped at the Van Nuys/Sherman Oaks Park at about 9pm on Monday 8/25/08. PLEASE pass this along to anyone you know as we are not able to keep 4 cats and want to do whatever we can to find them good homes. There are two tabby's - a light and a darker striped one. There's a black and white one and an orange tabby. They're under a year, maybe 6 months old. They are not skittish and are quite friendly once they warm up to you, which doesn’t take very long. Anyone that is interested in any of them, please pass this on and have them contact us:

We are taking them to the vet tonite to get checked out. I've attached a couple of pix.

If I weren't literally on the other side of the country...  I'd go ahead and post it on the California board, too for some more coverage.

Awwwww! What schweeeeties! I live in the Midwest and already have 2 feline furbabies but HELLO?!? California peeps - come on help these little snuggle bugs find a loving home!

oh I hope you find a good home for them!!

My first cat was part of a litter that was dropped off at an animal shelter when they were kittens.  All were adopted right away... (me taking the only girl, that spunky thing... I have since lost her )... but here's hoping you get them adopted asap

I've been bugging the wife to get a little playmate for our aging cat.... maybe this will soften her up, sent her a link to the thread, we'll see what she says.....

ETA- We've worked with this group before, they take in cats and keep them until adoptions (have public adoptions every weekend).  there may be something similar in the Valley.  If you get desparate and can't keep them anymore.
