What's next?

Well, I've got my marathon coming up in three weeks. As far as the next year goes, I'm planning to do my first Olympic distance race. I'm considering doing the Hy-Vee, since I haven't done a really big triathlon. I think it'll end up being the day after my clinical rotation ends, so we'll see. If nothing else, I think I'll be doing the entire Black Squirrel next year instead of racing it on a team.

I'm making my official announcement in this forum: I'm not planning anything until my foot heals up. I'm not doing any more biking or running either, until this thing is whipped.

I've got the 5 mile Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving day, other than that I'm just trying not to have a big 'fall-off' from training.

I would like to do the Hy Vee next year and I am already signed up for the IM in Louisville, KY.

I would love to do the Papillion race again, but it all depends on the date of the event as I understand they are moving it so that it doesn't conflict with the State Games.

Good question. I'm finishing this season with the Chicago Marathon on Oct. 12.

Then I have no clue. Hmm I'll have to think about it.

Best of luck in Chicago. That is an awesome race. Those first 10 miles or so just seem to go by in a flash. Hopefully you have much better weather than last year.

Yeahhhh last year sucked. I hit the wall at mile 22 last year and couldn't get my legs going again, which really hurt. Finally at about mile 24 I just said `If you don't go you'll never finish this race.' So I lowered my head and took off. Good times.
