Regular 81  Anchorage, AK |  Subject: 2009 HIM?I just moved back to Washington (spokane area) and now do tris. Which tris are not to miss and which are to be avoided? Also, I was thinking of doing my first HIM late in 2009 - any good starter courses? |

Champion 10668   Tacoma, Washington | Subject: RE: 2009 HIM? Troika is in your back yard (early August) (I did this one WAY back in 1991 or so). Then there's Grand Columbian (mid-September, Middle Washington), Lake Stevens (early July, Western Washington), Black Diamond (mid September, also Western Washington), one in Boise in early June, Pacific Crest (Bend, OR, late June), and one in early to mid August in Provo, Utah that's very flat (so I hear) AND really inexpensive. Lake Stevens and the one in Boise are IM 70.3 events, so expect the carnival atmosphere (and commensurate entry fee). Hope that helps. |
