Changing Profile Image

Veteran  281   Charlestown |  Subject: Changing Profile ImageHi! I'm looking to change my avatar. I resized the image to be less than 50KB and am getting the "Image Uploaded Successfully" message. However, the picture isn't changing. I looked to see if it started an album of pictures and placed it in there but I can't find it. I also tried deleting my current picture before uploading the new one but when I do this the old one just comes back. Any thoughts? I'm sure I'm just doing something dumb  Thanks! |

Frequently the old picture is left in your cache and if you clear that out your new avatar will show up. I see a triathlete getting ready to get on a bike with a yellow sign in the background. Is that your new avatar? |

Pro 4824 Houston | Subject: RE: Changing Profile Image I am having the same issue. I load the new pic it says successful but when I click on the GO button my old pic is there. I deleted my old pic and posted - no pic. I thought great, now I'll load the new one but as soon as I load the new one AGAIN the old pic is there. I refreshed my page several times and still cannot get my profile pic to change. May I ask what you see? Maybe it is my computer. |

Pro 4824 Houston | Subject: RE: Changing Profile Image I found these steps in the FAQ: Delete old photo Right click on internet icon Select properties Click Temporary internet files Delete Did all of that sill have old photo, then tried... Delete old photo F5 Upload new photo F5 X 2 Still have old photo as far as I can tell. The original photo is me in a teal shirt the new photo should be me post race with a pink boa. I wish I could get this to work. |

As long as you guys can see the new photo I guess that's all that counts as long as the pic loaded ok and didn't cut off my head or anything. Thanks for posting. |
