Never have. I'm probably out of town, although a 70M swim is right up my alley. Even I can do that in less than a minute.

I suspect the bike course is shorter than stated, as there were a few >27mph averages posted last year.

Wow, I am slow.  I am expecting to hit 1:31 on the swim which keeps me in the 2min/100 meter range which is actually fast for me!   Oh well will have fun.  May be I will get a 27mph this time...

I was looking at last year's results, where only one of the 87 participants took longer than a minute to finish the swim. Looks like the vast majority were in the 30-50 second range.

Sorry about that Bear!  Holy speedo's batman!!!  There be some fast people in this race (or the timing is off)

According to the stats the top 25 racers were on pace for a 12 min/mile! (if I am reading correctly)  Heck, there are people who can't run that pace.

Definitely some timing issues last year.  Otherwise I am about to be blown out of a mini-Tri!

I thought the same thing when I saw the swim times.  Either the timing or distance was off, so I called the number listed on the entry form.  Lady said, "yep, it is the same pool as last year".   I tried for about a minute to explain that that may be true but I wanted to know if it is fact a 70 m swim.  She replied it was the same as last year.   LOL  I thanked her and hung up.  I  entered my time a little fast compared to what I normally swim, 1:12.  So they will be at least two of us over a minute. Ha!

I talked to the RD awhile ago about something else.  Was going to call him but it ain't worth it.  Who knows we may get our fastest swim recorded yet!  See you there.

Anyone have contact info for this?  I took 3rd in my AG and they said they would mail the awards.  Haven't received anything.  I think the RD is the manager of the workout center so may try that, Nathan I believe?
