They made a good argument about the rescue, " You could give them an A-plus or an A-minus. But to hold somebody responsible for a wrongful death, you better give them an F.”

I totally agree... and the fact that her lawyer was asking for $4.0 million dollars JUST for pain and suffering cause is beyond me...  An american soldier assumes even MORE risks and their families only get a total (depending on how the soldier decided to divide it up) of $400k, that's not including the $1.5 million she was asking for medical bills and lost financial support.

Based on what I know, this was the right decision.  Check mark in the 'people are responsible for what they do' column, ESPECIALLY if you sign a waiver to that effect.

We need a lot more check marks in this column, both inside and outside of Tri's, IMHO. Maybe this is an indicator that personal responsibility is making a comeback. And no, don't turn this into a right-left issue.
