European Triathlon?

there are a few sprints that are good in Lanzarote, my son did them this year in may , he said they were great. Also nice island to enjoy the rest of your holiday. Oh my son lives in Scotland so he does a few Nothern races if you are want I'll ask him to recommend some.

A couple in the south of France, but not held every year that are cool are the Avignon  race (swim around le pont d'Avignon, and on the Cote D'Azur at La Ciotat near Toulon that has a tough climb out.  

Apparently there is a Barcelona Triathlon, it looks really good.  I fancied it but unfortunately don't have the funds this year.,  ere's the link...

check out the Barcelona Tri, or the Stockholm tri - both are run by the same team that do London/Blenheim etc..

Alternatively, if you want to go a bit longer, check out the European 70.3 races - the Swiss course is supposed to be good (had a friend do it this year), the Antwerp 70.3 is supposedly very fast as it is quite flat & Austria looks good too.

Both the Austria 70.3 and Germany 70.3 are very well run races and I had a lot of fun doing them. The pre-race briefs are given in English as well as German too. The bike course in Germany is a bit challenging, so be forewarned.
