Generally speaking, we eat a LOT of meat in this country, so protein is generally covered. ...carbs, too.  I do keep 6 boiled eggs in the fridge, so I can grab one for a snack after a workout or in a hurry. I take fish oil pills daily. There is a movement right now that suggests our cattle, pigs, chickens, and even farm-raised fish are fed way more corn and not grasses like they used to. This leads to a lack of Omega 3s in our diet. I hope these fish pills supplement that lack of fatty acids. As you can tell, I know just enough to be dangerous.  |
