I went for a short run this evening on my usual route around my house.  I am normally a slow runner, but today I felt pretty good.  Ended up cutting off 45 seconds/mile off my run time.  the last 5 minutes, my Garmin read my HR as 240.  Then just as I ended the run, it didn't read a HR at all.  So I guess I'm dead.  But I had my fastest run in nearly a year!

Maybe I'm one of those fast zombies, like 28 Days Later, instead of one of the slower shambling ones?  .....Brains.......

Once, my sister got a tax return back that said she was born in 1865. She should have been dead, or at least collecting old age pension......

You're a very good typist for a dead guy.

if you're dead you probably don't need to eat or drink.. less weight on the bike!

If you are dead, can I have your bike?

Last week my Garmin told me I went 95.5 mph on my bike. Pretty cool, I didn't even know I was going so fast...

Sometimes the heart rate monitor will pick up high spiking T waves.  This essentially doubles the heart rate displayed.  We have some monitors that are a little sensitive to that.  For them there's a little gain dial you can adjust.

Social Security somehow got my age messed up (we think someone might have been using my SSN when I was a kid) - it had me working at age 7, so they started sending me info about retirement benefits! Sah-weet, I could totally ROCK the 55+ AG!

Congrats on the great run, even if you had to die doing it. What's that quote?

Life is not a journey to the grave
With the intention of
Arriving safely in a pretty
And well preserved body,
But rather to skid in broadside,
Thoroughly used up,
Totally worn out,
And loudly proclaiming,

WOW !!!! What a ride!
