Comments: pretty good but as always i started too fast. What would you do differently?: not start so fast Post race
Warm down: peed, walked around til they gave me my medal. What limited your ability to perform faster: the poor amount of sleep on the boat, the day in the sun, the late dinner, the even later ice cream, and the poor breakfast (the only thing other than chips and "vacation snack food" was tomato-mozzarella salad, not a great pre-race meal. Event comments: my friends and i were 'up north' for a girls weekend. they are not active at all and get a kick out of me and all the crap i do. they signed me up and the plan was for them to come out and watch me race, they were not up yet (duh) and would still have been drunk had they been awake. i ran it anyway and had a good time, and it was THE ONLY exercise i did all weekend. :) Last updated: 2005-06-26 12:00 AM

spent the previous day on a boat, the ENTIRE day, wasn't properly hydrated, ate a HUGE dinner at 10 followed by an icecream sunday and slept on the boat.
