Perhaps I'm an asshole. I've got a race (1/4 mile swim, 13 mile bike, 5k run) this weekend....and I feel like I'm going to kick everyone's ass. My biking has been awesome lately (in my opinion). The swim is nothing, even if it is open water, I've swam further in open water. I dunno, usually I get antsy and self-doubting before a race, I don't know what is wrong this week. Now watch, I'll lose a tire or crash this weekend (crash is unlikely...it's a pretty flat course)

Man I am so lost. I thought "hubris" was something you spread on crackers at a party.

Heh! For some reason I was in a feisty mood this morning. I'm sure my wife will tell me to "snap out of it!"

"I've SWUM further in open water." Just correcting the editor. (This may be a bad idea...I think from here on I'm in for some relentless scrutiny of my posts!)

The feisty mood must still be there!

Err...that being said...is it "further" or "farther"...I have no clue?

and P.P.S. Have a good race (just to get back on topic)!!!

I'm going to blame my poor grammar on hypoglycemia...a blood sugar of 42 will do that to you.

I'm just suprised Tracey can swear like that! She looks so sweet and innocent! Maybe she's been reading up on the Talk Like a Pirate site!

Hahha! That's surprising to me...I swear like a sailor!! One of my favorite sayings as of late is "Shit damn". A good friend of mine told me that my swearing was like hearing his mom swear...I don't quite know how to take that.
