We also had a great time, the race was fun, fun fun!  Staying at the Saga resort was a real treat as well.  We are making this a yearly event to wrap up the season. Hoping to try the Olympic distance next year.  See you all next year!

I have been raving about this venue.  I was so surprised by the quality of the road for the bike route.

given what a gorgeous day it was & how PERFECT the water was... it almost felt like being on an all-inclusive or something.

gorgeous water... soft sandy beach... HOT sunshine for the bike... & then people handing you drinks on the run.

couldn't have been better!

FANTASTIC choice!!
that's exactly what i did this year & it was ideal.
(& using that as an "excuse" to stay up for the weekend never hurts either!)
