Christmas Trees

I've heard that Hammacher Schlemmer (or however you spell it) can't keep the upside down trees in stock. See link.

How do you get the water to stay in the tree stand?

Fill me in because it's sounds pretty stupid IMO. People will do anything just to be different.

So it's a fake tree, and it's $600?  WHO would pay that much money for an upsidedown fake tree?

I actually saw a notice today telling people to use the service elevator when bringing HOLIDAY trees into the building. I know the christmas/holiday thing was already discussed but this is a new one to me.

I have read, in more than one newspaper, magazine, I can't remember where, that some people actually suspend their Christmas trees from the ceiling upside down to keep pets and/or children from knocking over or ruining ornaments or whatever. It seems weird to me too...imo of course.
