Subject: New in STL/So Illinois

Hello everyone...just starting training...have been running and biking...going to start the sprint training plan next week...any advice? My name is Rob, I am 25 and in the Air Force, stationed in So. Illinois, just east of STL. Hoping to be ready for a tri by next spring...great site!

Keep going a workout at a time. For me (just started 2 weeks ago) I just try to enjoy the workout as much as possible.

Wow--well you've got plenty of time!! This is just a guess, but I bet that 2 months into the training, you'll start looking for a late summer race to tri!!
