Subject: RE: Cervelo P2 - 105 or UltegraSo I bought my first tri bike a few years back. I looked at Felt, QR, and briefly, Specialized, as well as Cervelo. I didn't know how addicted I would get, so I watched my wallet, but got something that fit me well with good components. I decided on the Cervelo P1. Great bike. But now I want to upgrade to a carbon frame. I really like the P1, and was told if the P1 fit well, so would the P2. Now the question, Ultegra or 105. I have Ultegra on the P1, but that was a years ago so... with the trickle down technology, is 105 essentially just as good as my old Ultegra. I have 105 on an even older road bike, and never had an issue (but it doesn't have as nearly as many miles as the tri bike, so an unfair comment ). |
