It has seemed rather slow lately.   I didn't check much while I was home for the summer, but now that I'm back in the office, I've noticed a definite slowdown.

 

How's the fire recovery going?

Our two biggest units are back on. Working on the one actually damaged. Other than that, both mom's got cancer, possibly the dog, and for the first time in my career I felt like resigning. How's things with you? ?

Better than that, although cancer took my godmother last night, and my best friend in the spring.      Chin up, it's got to get better, right?

I'm sorry to hear that. She must have been very important to you. MIL is going to be fine. My Mom not so optimistic, but still waiting to hear. Part of this thing we do right? One foot is still going in front of the other.

Well some good news.... Mom does not have cancer. Not malignant. Good to go. Doc told MIL that got it all, she's good to go. Don't have the final report, but he is not worried. Recovering well from surgery.

And I put my app in for another plant. Time to move on

I initially read that as "another planet." Glad to hear you're not looking at that drastic of a change, ad that everything else is going better.
