Best Running Attire (Women) 2006

For those that haven't tried running or cycling in a skirt what are you waiting for? SkirtSports was started by Nicole DeBoom former Ironman champion. So don't think skirts are for wimps.

Skirts rock!! I am totally hooked. I never, ever run in shorts anymore. The skirts are way more comfy and you can wear them all day and look cute. I even wear the one for cycling now.

I wore a skirt once and it kept getting all wedgy.  I can't find one with the panty=like linings.  All the ones I 've seen are like boy shorts underneath and therefore go up when I run. 

Believe it or not, I picked up 2 pairs of running shorts on clearance from Old Navy last summer. These shorts absolutely rock! They sit low on the waist, don't ride up, don't fall down, have a key pocket, and don't make my legs or butt look bigger than they are. And at about $7 per pair, they were a total bargain. Really, I wish I had bought about 10 more. They completely beat the Nike shorts I have, the under armour ones, and the ones I got from Title Nine. I don't quite now what makes them so awesome fit wise, but they are!

Yes, seriously the Triks skirts by Skirt Sports is the best out there. This year she came out with a new tri top and short, then just pull on the transition skirt for the race! The fit is good and getting each year--this year way better than before...the black color is awesome, but you;ll regret not wearing the powerful pink on race day!
