Good Tri shops/hope UBC went well!

Weather was beautiful - nothing but sunshine at UBC!

I know of two local dedicated tri shops. Speedtheory on West 4th around Trafalgar (www.speedtheory.ca) and then Tri 3 Sports in Port Moody at 2608 St. Johns (www.tri3sports.ca). There's also the online dealer - www.trigeeks.ca .

Most of the bike/running shops carry some tri gear, but those places are the real deal.

How'd you do Deputy? I was up there for a few hours watching a few friends thiis morning, what a great day for a challenge!

I don't think my time was fantastic, but I'm waiting for the results to be posted before I know for sure. I probably came in at about 1:45...transition times were a bit slow this time around (especially T1)...and my chain came off on the bike due to a rough shift on my part which added a minute or so.

Overall, though...it was a good time. RR will go up as soon as I get my results...it's already drafted and ready to go!

Thats great that there was good weather , it was pouring out in far-a-way Maple Ridge so i was thinking of you all! but not to worry! sunshine! bring on summer!

Hah! I was kidding, kiwi...it was monsooning with crazy winds! The weather was awful! No matter though, it was a great time.
