Subject: Mighty Kids Tri this Sat (Sept 13)
Just thought I'd throw this out there.  There is a kids tri at Rocky Neck Saturday.  My daughter raced last year and had a blast.  We'll be back this year.  Registration is on Active or starts at 7:00 race day.  Here's the link.  Hope to see some of you there (I'll be volunteering on the run course)

We'll be there.  My son and daughter will be racing again this year.  Like your daughter they both had a great time last year.

Our daughter had a great time today. She said the swim was the worst because she swallowed some sea water, but had tons of fun.

Well run race; great time for the kids.

my kids had a great time as well.  Didn't swallow salt water but complained about the current (?) and the hill (?) on the run.  My son didn't think I was funny when I said yeah you had to run up but you got to run back down (out and back course) For those of you in CT with kids this should be a must do next year.  Was really well run.

Yup, that was me with my crew.  We all got out there and had a blast cheering on the kids.  Great turn out this year.   Better organized this year too.  Mary did a great job.  We will be back again next year.  My daughter didn't race today (my call, she still needs swim help.  Boy, was she mad at me!) but she'll race next year for sure.  Now only if my 5 year old son would get over his fear of the water...

Absolutely!  Now only if we could have some good weather, we'd really be in business.  Two years in a row it has been wet and rainy.  That hill one the run killed a lot of the kids!  They were great though.  Some walked up it but everyone ran back down looking like they were having a blast.  I love kids races!

Pictures are posted. Still waiting for results. They've posted results from previous years, but is it possible that for kids races, they don't want to post age / full name, etc. for embarrasment and/or privacy issues? It might be possible for a creep to reconstruct where you live and know where a certain child lives once they get a name. From the race number you could then make the leap to a face to go with the name. A virtual predator's smorgasboard.
